It is with pleasure that we welcome Practice Nurses Jo Peace and Kate Reeve to the team. Both are very experienced nurses . Jo has been working with us Thursdays and Fridays for a couple of months now and Kate will start on 14 November covering Mondays and Tuesdays.
Dr Nina Baker and Dr Jo White are both now on maternity leave – Dr White intends to be back mid-January 2017 and Dr Baker July 2017. We have Dr Andrea Crichton back doing some locum cover and Dr Nicki Pointing will be joining the team as a longer term locum from mid December.
Annual fee increases effective from 1 October 2016. For enrolled patients aged 25 to 64 years the consultation fee will increase from $52 to $54. The casual consultation fee will increase to $84 . Updated fees lists will be available as soon as other service increases are confirmed.

Dr Aine McCoy has announced today that she is stepping down as a Partner of Peninsula Medical Centre after 18 years in this leading role.
We welcome Dr Ken Looi in her place to join Drs Rose Dodd, Jeffrey Law and Chitra Karunanidhi as a Partner.
Dr McCoy will continue as an Associate GP at the practice and with reduced sessions. Her patient list is now closed.
Dr Ken Looi has worked at Peninsula Medical Centre as an Associate GP for the last 1 ½ years and is very well regarded by patients and staff alike. He has a special interest in minor surgery and joint injections.
He will formally take up his position as a Partner on 29 August 2016 when he returns from competing in the World Unicycle Championships in Spain and we look forward to working with him in this new capacity.
Peninsula Medical Centre is looking for an experienced Practice Nurse (as advertised on Trade Me) 24-32 hours per week (early August start) and a Female Doctor 5 sessions per week (late August Start). For more information, please call Vicki (Practice Manager) on 380 8855.

We warmly welcome Dr Joanna (Jo) White to PMC. Joanna is a New Zealander, who graduated from Otago in 2009 and has recently returned from UK where she worked for the NHS for 2 ½ years. She will be working Tuesday to Friday and welcomes new patient registrations.
Dr Nina Baker’s hours are now Monday to Thursday.
Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm
Saturday 9am - 12pm
